An original Outlands commission fusing Semiconductor’s (Ruth Jarman and Joe Gerhardt) multi-channel video works with Eartheater’s (Alexandra Drewchin) live soundtrack and vocal performance into a theatrical production. The work investigated absorption and the spectrum between empirical research and human emotion through large-scale sublime projections, vocals, movement and sound — a collision of the visual artists’ and the musician’s practices. Curated and produced with De La Warr Pavilion; supported by Arts Council England and the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
