Joanne Armitage is a live coder and musician working in algorithmic performance and electronic music, performing as ‘joanne’ and collaborating with the live-coding collective ALGOBABEZ. Her practice centres on live coding and algorave — generating and performing music from code in real time — alongside community and festival organising across experimental electronic music. She performed a live-coded set at MK Gallery in 2016.
