Sonic artist Ray Lee – British Composer of the Year for Sonic Art in 2012 – created Chorus, a giant sound installation that was presented at three sites in Central Milton Keynes during Milton Keynes International Festival 2014.
Chorus consisted of an impressive series of huge metal tripods with rotating arms which towered above the audience. At the end of each arm, loudspeakers emitted pulsating, harmonic sounds whilst kinetic movement creates the effect of a whirling swarm of fireflies or planets in motion.
